Hello from Sioux Falls Golf! I am very excited to introduce you to our town, our club, and our community. We have so many things to offer our students, and I'd love to talk with you regarding your teaching goals. Please contact me with your questions and to schedule a tour of our wonderful facility.
Danny Sinksen, a Sioux Falls native and Roosevelt High School alumni, has been a cornerstone of the Sioux Falls Golf community for over two decades. After a successful collegiate golf career at Missouri Southern State University, where he was a four-year letter winner and received multiple honors, Danny turned his passion for golf into a professional pursuit.
Returning to Sioux Falls, Danny embarked on a journey with the City of Sioux Falls golf courses, contributing his skills at Elmwood Golf Course and Prairie Green Golf Course, and dedicating himself to coaching and player development. In 2019, he was appointed Director of Player Development, overseeing instructional programs across all Sioux Falls Golf facilities.
Danny's teaching philosophy centers on tailoring instruction to individual learning styles, emphasizing purposeful practice. His dedication to golf education is evident through his involvement with The First Tee of South Dakota and his recognition as PGA Dakota Chapter "Teacher of the Year" in 2017, among other accolades.
Under Danny's leadership, Sioux Falls Golf has launched the Sioux Falls Golf Academy and Junior Tour, hosted numerous golf events, and nurtured countless young golfers. His commitment to the sport and community has made a lasting impact, fostering growth and excellence in Sioux Falls golf.
